New Boomkin Form's.

[:1]So to Start out With Patch 3.0 Blizzard introduced, 2 New forms, for the Feral DPS And the Feral Tank. Which was a great addition, I dont think ive heard one person complain about it. That being said, They Left the Boomkin/ Others to what they were prevoiusly. I Understand it would be EXTREMELY hard to find a Form the most players like for the boomkin class, Since everyone "Is in love with that form" i read that from a blizzard post i saw a year and a a day ago. Blizzard i ask you, get the Graphic mans to come up with some concept art or some shots of what it could look like. Id Really like that, let alone the other % of the boomkin population.

You added a BUNCH of really REALLY cool stuff, in 3.0 Which made it the best patch of this Xpac, 3.2 and 3.3 Were just...lame. You really put you heart and soul into 3.0. Lets make it happen.
I think the new feral models were actually in 3.2. But that was still like a year and a half ago.

I remember the disappointment when there were no new moonkin models, and it hasn't faded.

There was always the hope that Blizzard would at least let us use all the ugly owlkin models as customization, but that hope died with the worgen/troll forms.
Has anyone on the internet done mockups of possible moonkin form graphical updates?
I would be content with different color schemes of the current model until they get around to redoing it. I've always liked the Winterspring moonkin scheme.
If they came up with new moonkin forms I'd undust my old druid and make him troll. I find it kinda lackluster that moonkins for trolls/tauren and NEs/worgen will look the same, when there's new feral forms for the new races.
Yeah, this thread happened like a dozen times in the old forums.

It seems unlikely that they will use Moonkin Form customization, like what happen with feral forms, now that they used 2 possible custom forms for Worgen and Troll moonkins. :P

They were asked if those forms were placeholders, and the only short answer we got was:

"Final!"

Like: "Damn! They are final! Stop asking that!"

At least sounded this way imo.

Notice how it carries some sort of discontentament and annoyance by the question. ONE WORD ANSWER. Blizzard either really think moonkin models now are fine, or they just don't like it, or don't feel like messing on this wasp hive.


That, or they're using these ones for the trolls/worgen in the meantime, and their comment mentioning "there's always 4.1" might apply to brand spankin' new skins similar to cat/bear.
Sadly not.

They specific told that the current models are not placeholders. They are final.

Final for the cataclysm release, yes. Final for what the trolls/worgen will be seeing once they get high enough level to use it. We knew though that brand spankin' new forms for tauren/elf for example weren't coming on the cataclysm release irregardless.

That comment nor that question address the statement made a while back asking if moonkin form as a whole was being re-modeled. That was the "there's always 4.1" response.


Or is there a different statement made somewhere that I'm unaware of? O_o


Edit: I'm trying to be reasonably optimistic here. It's completely uncharacteristic for me. Don't kill it just yet ;)
