Which char to transfer?

[:1]Druid or Priest.

I'll be transferring one of them to play on a different server with friends, and unfortunately it's server and faction change, so cost is a bit prohibitive. The focus of which will be pvp, though certainly some pve as well. Most likely they'll end up as a healbot for the team.

Anyone want to play devils advocate on which one I should choose? I'm torn because I love them both :)
Ooooh, thats gonna be a tough one. I might have to say go with druid if you're planning on healing in PvP, though disc priest is getting some big buffs for PvP and PvE. If you're planning on DPSing at any time in PvP, I'd have to say the priest. There are a lot of factors, some that I really can't take into account(you're personaly choices).

In the end, I'd choose druid but thats my biased opinion so take that for what you will.
Priest, don't even think twice. dps PVP as a shadow Priest is somewhat OP right now (fifth most succesful class spec at the moment) and is actually getting some buffs on the pointer (yeah Blizzard isn't clued in).

The healing Priests Disc and Holy are awful right now, which is very unusual from Priests and they are usually extremely good heals in PVP especially in threes and fives. Why bring it then? Because Blizzard is buffing it madly and it will go from garbage to OP very quickly.

GC and Blizzard designers have a hate type relationship with Druids.. just don't go there.. can't think of any other class that would have been considered for removal of a six year old ability the class was balanced around like shifting out of roots.

Priest is a very safe class for heals with a strong community, they don't stay down long in PVP or PVE, period.
Yea, I'm pretty distraught over the feral shapeshift nerf. Especially since all indication is that they'll retain it for boomkin and resto... cause clearly feral isn't the spec that it makes the most sense for.

One of the biggest pros I had running for the druid was going to be stealth, but you're correct in that priests will seemingly have 2 functional roles. If feral gets gutted and useless as it potentially looks that really only leaves resto (for me)... balance has and continues to be a bad spec and a lackluster playstyle (imo).
Hey, I know what you mean about boomkin and don't blame you. I still play it cause if I ever do decide to go competitive with this guy I can always fall back on the only role blizz wants druids to be, healing. But yeah, now that I think about it priest would be you're best bet. Their healing is getting buffed and they've always done good in PvP as shadow.
