[:1]Anyone else feel its soooooo SLOW. I just can't get used to it. I know they are decreasing it to like 1.7 or 1.8 in beta. Its only a .5 sec extra then it was just soooooo damn slow. Maybe its b/c I'm spoiled w/ my instant roots, Which is super great!
ya. the new cast time is super lame. and if you got something beating on you its debatable if its even worth trying to cast it as spell pushback adds another sec onto it. Im hoping they will provide us with more haste in cata to get its new cast time down. also wrath.
The new cast times were mainly implemented to combat the effects of haste. It got pretty bad before, with fears and sheeps that were nearly impossible to interrupt without god-like levels of concentration. So, while casting cyclone without a ton of haste is going to be crap for a little while, at least we also have a fighting chance to taking care of other classes' casts as well.
