Why Resto is buffed Not Nerfed[4.0.6]

okay, I'm going to assume most druids have only read the ptr notes that apply to druids and not other classes so i'll create a list of why druids in PVP are buffed, and maybe just maybe... someone will explain why in pve( wild regrowth is now op?)


current state: In pvp our heals cannot keep up with multiple class comps- we have AMAZING Regen, yet just don't have the throughput. our cc is outrageously good and ability to kite is doing well. we lack the burst healing that most classes have as we rely on a poorly scaling swiftmend, natures swiftness, and lifebloom blooms.

regrowth does offer a great heal when it crits(living seed) however murders our mana pool if spammed.

Note: I've gone through and chosen the spells i found to be worth mentioning in the "nerf's to other classes" section I have included the "big" ones that really impact our gameplay.


Buffs to Restoration:

Druid RESTO changes:
Symbiosis (Mastery) benefit from mastery increased by approximately 16%.(mediocre)
Wild Growth healing has been increased by 30%, and the cooldown has been reduced to 8 seconds, down from 10.(back in everyones PVP healing rotation i would assume, especially rated bgs)

Moonfire mana cost has been reduced from 18% to 9%.
Prowl is no longer broken by enemies using Demoralizing Shout or Demoralizing Roar.
Soothe is now instant cast, down from 1.5 seconds.(see below for current uses)
Warrior:
Berserker Rage
Death Wish
Recklessness (Was an Enrage, not sure if still is post 4.0)
Enrage

Rogue:
Hunger for blood(update: removed)

Death Knight:
Unholy Frenzy (Old Hysteria?)

Druid:
Owlkin Frenzy
Enrage
Savage Roar


Nerfs to other classes(buffs to us):

DK:
Necrotic Strike's absorption effect is now reduced by the target's resilience. In addition, its debuff duration has been reduced to 10 seconds, down from 15.

shaman:
Purge now dispels a single effect instead of two.

feral:
Shifting no long breaks rooting effects.

Locks:
mana drain removed
Unstable Affliction's silence effect has been reduced to 4 seconds

mages:
damage shifted around

warriors:
single charge
slight hotfix to throwdown(already in effect?) seems that you may stand up faster- uncertain

rogues:
survivability cooldowns nerfed(better peels)
smokecloud cut to 5 seconds from 8


Class wide/overall nerfs:

CC is down to 8 seconds from 10. so 8/4/2 with diminishing
lust is no longer usable in arena.
4pc on all sets cut by 50%(I do believe)
class wide/overall buff:
PvP enchants are properly valued and attached to Honor Quartermasters and Tol Barad/Baradin Hold Quartermasters.(another ~1% damage reduction)



Conclusion:

Now don't get me wrong there are multiple problems we still face that are going to need to be addressed, however all in all we gained multiple large advantages in Arena/rated bg's. Survivability increasing= a buff druids. Soothe will be a GAME changer(assume that beserker rage will become undispellable for the same reasons barkskin is undispellable) as it will nerf damage of most melee and remove the sheepbreaker/sapbreaker from dk teams.
